Wedding's, Paris and Cancun

September is all ready here , seems like this summer flew by. It was a crazy summer here with two weddings being photographed in Cancun, a trip to Paris (will post pictures soon) and lots of weddings. Moved back to my home town of Nashua and everything just seems to be going great. Here is a sneak peak at a couple of my Paris photos..

Incredible Wedding Season So Far

Again I know I have been bad about my blogging but I have been so busy . What a incredible year so far. Starting off in Foxboro at the Lakeview with Lyndsay and Jason, to Searles Castle for Lauren and Jeff's , then to Promise To Keep for Julie and Mikes wedding and then flying to Cancun to photograph two wedding's with Jackie and Shawn and then Lisa and Pauls . What a back drop the palm trees , white sandy beaches, the ocean and the Sunset Princes Resort. So a quick thank you to them for allowing me to be a part of their wedding days and enjoy such a beautiful place with them.

Yesterday had the honor to shoot Allyson and Brandon on their special day located at the Castleton . This was a familiar group as I had photographed Allyson's cousins wedding 2 years ago. I knew this group was going to be wild and crazy and they did not let me down. I am going thru the pictures now and will have some on the site in the next couple days so please come back and take a peak.

Also a couple new slideshows and video are now online so take a peak , a few more will be up this week so enjoy. All in all I have been so blessed to have such a wonderful season and couples to work with. All of them have been so much fun to work with and I think their photos will show not only how much they had fun but how in love they all are. So thank you to all of you...

Although the weather seems to be giving us a taste of spring it will be here full bloom soon enough. I for one cannot wait. With our first wedding this year under our belt and just booking a few more this past week it is going to be a fun year. Spring is coming quick !!

I know it does not seem like spring will ever get here with all the snow and rain we have been having but do not fret it is coming. I for one cannot wait as it really kicks off the wedding season for me. I have some great brides and grooms this year with some beautiful venues from Searles Caste to a NH Vineyard , to Cancun Mexico.
Some new equipment that allows for unbelievable natural low light photography. Some great new assistants and photographers to help out and just my attitude that your day is all about you and that I want your memories to be special and beautiful and your day to be everything you have dreamed of.

Capturing the moment to enjoy always has been almost a motto for Denise and me. We took pictures everywhere we went since we first started dating, and of course it would be a crucial part of our big day. Trottier Studios was one of the photographers recommended to us by our reception coordinator. And with the first conversation on the phone, we knew that Rick would personally go out of his way to make the photos of our wedding what we wanted. It was so important that with everything going on planning for the wedding, he made us feel confident that we did not have to worry about this aspect of our wedding. Everything was personal with him, meeting us when and where it was convenient for us, driving around with us during our 2nd meeting to the locations we wanted pictures with the wedding party, and being very supportive and understanding the day of. We had a couple large hurdles for him on the wedding day. We wanted 19 different group pictures after the ceremony at the church that would include all 260 family and guests. He got that done efficiently and professionally in admirable time. We wanted to take pictures at 3 different locations between the ceremony and the reception, and again he made it possible. And all this was in addition to the traditional photographs of the rest of the wedding and reception. His professionalism and excellence are self-evident. And the way he takes your moments and your wants so personally will be evident with the first conversation. Thank you, Rick, for going so far above and beyond what we expected from our wedding photographer.

Ready to Go

Well after a very busy August and July I have a couple weeks to recoup this month with a wedding being cancelled due to a family tragedy. My thoughts and prayers go out to them for their loss.
I have all the albums now designed and ready for approval and now I am just waiting for the next wedding. This is going to be spectacular. The location is Booth Bay Maine. Beautiful stone church , lobster boat ride to the reception (hmm think we can pull some lobster pots for dinner the next day) which is at a beautiful farm house. Well stay tuned. Triple Header Weekend

Hey, even after two weddings on the North Shore and one on the South Shore yesterday I got the chance to play a little golf with a good friend and a couple new ones. The weather finally cooled a little and made for a great day of golf. The weddings were beautiful, highlighted by a Nahant wedding on the beach with a beautiful full moon , sailboats anchored in the harbor and a nice sea breeze. With a little time to recoup and get the latest albums designed and bound we will be all set for the next set of weddings.

With 4 weddings in the next 2 weeks I guess I am going to be busy. That's OK though I really do enjoy every aspect of the wedding business from meeting with the brides and grooms to the engagement photos to shooting the wedding and then designing their albums.

With a little break today I will finish up the two albums that are in design stage and get them ordered. Then its off to find my wife a new car.

Having just finished working on my latest engagement shoot I have come to realize what a great a great way for the brides and grooms and I to start to build our repore together. No matter who you pick to shoot your wedding make sure you have a good repore with the photographer. If the company you have chosen sub contracts other photographers, ask to talk or meet with the photographer they are going to have photograph your wedding. You want to make sure it is someone you like. Not only will you have more fun but if you enjoy working with the photographer your photos are going to come out much better. Here is a shot from Wednesday engagement session with Rachel and Aaron. We had a great time and I can't wait wait for their October wedding.

High School Senior Photos

It is that time of the year and I am hearing that the studios that the schools have a contract with are basically telling everyone they have to use them. This is not always the case. If you want something different from everyone else and would prefer to use another studio, I am offering a discount from my normal sitting fees. Your photos can be taken inside or outside (I prefer outside).

If you have a special location you would like to have them done at within 1 hour of Manchester, that can be arranged also. Check out my website and contact me for more information.
